The office of Marketing and Communications is looking for talented and motivated students to work closely with our team of marketing and communications professionals through paid internships. The ideal students should be reliable and interested in helping tell the story of 91º£½ÇÂÒÂ×.
Interns are accepted during Fall and Spring semesters and over summer break. Applicants must have completed a minimum of one year of relevant coursework.

91º£½ÇÂÒÂ× University Marketing Social Media Internship
Roger Williams University's Office of Marketing & Communications is seeking a motivated, resourceful, and tech-savvy student to serve as a Social Media Intern. The intern will work directly with the Social Media Manager to strategize, craft, and execute content for all platforms, including the University's Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok, Threads, Twitter, and YouTube accounts. Applicants should have a strong level of experience with these channels, a demonstrated writing ability, organizational skills, the ability to work as part of a team and solo, and creativity to spare.
91º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Editorial Intern
91º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Editorial Interns assist the University Marketing and Communications Department with writing the university news and stories of our students, faculty, staff, and alumni. We are seeking creative and technical writers who are enthusiastic about uncovering and telling the compelling stories of our university community and the work we do at 91º£½ÇÂÒÂ×.
Our interns work from assignments and from their own ideas, to research the topic, prepare questions, conduct interviews, and write stories, learning the communications process from start to finish. Our interns work as part of a small, close-knit team of communications, design and social media professionals, and participate in content-planning meetings and cross-team collaboration. Assignments may include feature-length pieces, profiles, marketing materials, news releases, and supporting copy for sharing stories on social media. Students in this position develop an impressive portfolio of published work that may appear on the 91º£½ÇÂÒÂ× News website, the annual 91º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Magazine, and other university print and digital channels.
MarComm Student Graphic Designer
The MarComm Student Graphic Designer is responsible for assisting the Creative Director with designing print and web graphics for the university including: fliers, posters, manuals, brochures, web banners and more. The position will be responsible for updating and adapting existing graphics as well as producing some graphics from concept through production. This position will help prepare the student for a career in graphic design through hands-on experience, including: communicating with diverse partners from a variety of program areas, fulfilling projects requirements, designing within printer specifications and meeting deadlines. It will also provide the student with design pieces for their portfolio. This position reports to the Creative Director.
Video Coordinator
The office of Marketing and Communications is looking for three talented and motivated students to work with the content team on multimedia projects with a focus on photography, video capture, editing, post production, motion graphics, and animation. Students will be able to create or work with assets in order to produce finished multimedia products that meet an expected level of professional quality.
91º£½ÇÂÒÂ× Web Production Intern
Roger Williams University's Office of Marketing & Communications is seeking a motivated, resourceful, and tech-savvy student to serve as a Web Production Intern. The intern will work directly with the Web Production Manager to edit and update the rwu.edu and law.rwu.edu websites. Applicants should have a strong level of experience with website production, a demonstrated writing ability, organizational skills, and the ability to work as part of a team and solo.
