Research, Policy and Practice Collaborative

Through the Research, Policy and Practice Collaborative, 91 Extension School interfaces with the public and its leaders to identify and implement programs that benefit the university and the larger community. We are a thought partner and leader, working to solve problems, innovate, disrupt, and build new systems that create a positive and measurable impact for families, communities, and the State.

The collaborative, made up of the organizations below, provides a bridge for 91 EXT to the community's big issues. They provide us a “think and do” laboratory that faculty, students, and staff can leverage to better all of Rhode Island.

CYCLE partners with communities and school districts looking to build collective power through grassroots leadership, amplifying organizing, advocacy, and relationship building.

HousingWorks RI

As part of Roger Williams University, HousingWorks RI acts as a bridge for the university and the housing community. Additionally, it provides a “think and do” laboratory that faculty, students, and staff can leverage to better all of Rhode Island.
