Is an internship or another professional experience part of what you value in a quality business education? Love business but not sure of a specific career path? GSB is all of this and more.
Vision
Our vision is to be the school of choice for those who seek excellence in business education framed by personal attention and enhanced by experiential opportunities and the strongest emphasis on positive outcomes for students.
The Gabelli School of Business has five undergraduate Program Outcomes that are closely tied to mission and that include:
- Students will incorporate critical and analytical thinking when solving business problems.
- Students will be able to function successfully in a team environment

- Students will incorporate ethical dimensions when solving business problems.

Our Students
At GSB, our students come from a range of backgrounds and with a diverse set of interests. From the moment they arrive on campus we both challenge and support them so that they are ready to thrive as soon as they receive their diploma.
Technology and Resources
Technology is a critical dimension in learning the art and science of business. GSB hosts state-of-the art technology like our Bloomberg analytics lab; the Robert F. Stoico Financial Services Center that serves finance, business analytics and marketing research; and a newly renovated facility for the Center for Advanced Financial Education (CAFE) complete with Bloomberg and Moneynet.com resources that help our students manage two real-dollar portfolios in real time.

Experiential Learning
We bridge theory with hands-on practice so that our students graduate already prepared with the academic knowledge and real-world experiences employers are seeking. With experiential education as the cornerstone of a GSB education, our students have the opportunity to dive deeper and challenge themselves through real-world projects, national competitions, internships and study abroad programs.

Individualized Advising
One of the GSB advantages is individualized advising. Our professors work directly with students on educational and career goals, program and course selection, co-curricular opportunities such as study abroad and internships, and other supporting academic experiences.
