91ŗ£½ĒĀŅĀ×ās Co-Lab for Public Humanities lecture series āHidden Truths: Stories of Race and Placeā series featured a virtual presentation February 6, 2024 by the Cummings Schoolās Edgar Adams, Professor of Architecture, on āEquitable Renewal: Reclamation and Repairā.
Adamsā presentation shared the work of his architectural design studio that responded to Providence Mayor Jorge Allorzaās commitment beginning in 2020 to a municipal reparations strategy following the death of George Floyd. Adams offered a community-engaged architecture design studio in collaboration with the organizers of Providenceās reconciliation framework, examining three sites of past trauma, utilizing design as a tool for reconciliation. 91ŗ£½ĒĀŅĀ×ās Hidden Truths series is in its fourth year.
