91ŗ£½ĒĀŅĀ×ā€™s Co-Lab for Public Humanities lecture series ā€œHidden Truths: Stories of Race and Placeā€ series featured a virtual presentation February 6, 2024 by the Cummings Schoolā€™s Edgar Adams, Professor of Architecture, on ā€œEquitable Renewal: Reclamation and Repairā€.

Adamsā€™ presentation shared the work of his architectural design studio that responded to Providence Mayor Jorge Allorzaā€™s commitment beginning in 2020 to a municipal reparations strategy following the death of George Floyd. Adams offered a community-engaged architecture design studio in collaboration with the organizers of Providenceā€™s reconciliation framework, examining three sites of past trauma, utilizing design as a tool for reconciliation. 91ŗ£½ĒĀŅĀ×ā€™s Hidden Truths series is in its fourth year.
