Cloud skills are in high demand as companies strive to derive efficiency and value from cloud-based technology. Within this three-course certificate, students will understand understand the depth and breadth of cloud services, compliance and security issues, user management, cloud resources and support for business applications, and more.
The Cloud Computing certificate program is taught fully online and can be stacked with the Cybersecurity, Cyberspecialist, or Digital Forensics certificates (must earn three total), along with a thesis project, to earn the M.S. in Cybersecurity.
Learning Outcomes
- Understand cloud technology and build in-depth knowledge of the core services.
- Understand cloud concepts such as scalability, elasticity, fault tolerance, and high availability.
- Assess compliance, culpability management, and security.
- Interpret cloud logs, protection against DDoS, shared security model, MFA, password policies, IAM-managing users, and more.
- Employ clouds for business applications, and justify why it is extremely important to use clouds.
- Compare pricing models and use support, general account, calculation of service costs, building particular services, and more.

Application Requirements
To be considered for admission to the Cloud Computing Graduate Certificate program, applicants must hold an earned bachelor’s degree from a regionally-accredited college or university. To apply, submit the following:
- Completed online application form accompanied by the $50 application fee
- Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate coursework
- Letter of Intent (two double-spaced pages maximum) describing your interest in the program, relevant past experiences, and career goals
